Hello,
For those that don't know, in the beginning of October, Shawn had 2 ultrasounds done that found a cyst on his testicle. A couple of days later, while at work, he fell off of a ladder and broke 2 ribs. Since falling off the ladder his cyst grew and kept growing, and around 8 drs visits between Dubois, Lander, and Jackson before finally getting an MRI and 12 Labs done. They have found spots on his liver and lung. He then had surgery to remove the cyst and once healed from that he got 3 CT Scans done. He then got a bad cold which progressed and he started to vomit blood, once he reached the Jackson Hole emergency room they life flighted him to Idaho Falls. On March 9th he had surgery on his esophagus bands for esophageal varices. He will be having a follow up biopsy on March 20th. From October 8th - March 12th there have been 17 office visits, 2 ER visits, 6 days in hospital, 2 surgeries, 12 blood drawn labs, and multiple RX. There is still no official diagnosis at this time because he needs to heal from everything else that is going on before they can do the biopsy. Since all the unfortunate events, the medical bills and travel expenses are starting to pile up. If anyone is able to help it would be immensely appreciated. Anything and everything at this point will help greatly, and that includes just a share! Thank you all for taking the time to read Shawn's story. And hopefully i will be back with some good news for an update.
