a radiant soul, a devoted mother, a loving daughter, sister , Granddaughter, and a gifted hairdresser who has touched countless lives with her warmth, strength, and creativity. Today,Shawnee needs our help as she faces the fight of her life: a battle against stage 4 esophageal cancer that has spread to her liver. and will soon be getting a feeding tube as she is not able to hold down foods or fluids at this moment.

Shawnee has spent her life making others feel beautiful, both inside and out. Whether she was styling hair with her signature flair or offering a listening ear to clients who became like family, Shawnee has always given her heart to others. Now, it’s our turn to give back.

A recent diagnosis of esophageal cancer has turned Shawnee's world upside down. She is about to undergo aggressive treatment, including chemotherapy, radiation, and potentially surgery. The physical, emotional, and financial toll is immense. As she has to travel from Battle Mountain to Reno to receive her treatments, she currently has no reliable car.

Despite the pain and uncertainty, Shawnee continues to show up with courage and grace. She’s determined to beat this disease—not just for herself, but for her young son, who is 12, and daughter who looks up to her as a hero, as they depends on her love and care.

We need your help with transportation to and from medical appointments, basic living expenses, and support for her son's needs during this difficult time. As the holiday season approaches, we are asking the community to come together and lend a hand to support a speedy recovery during this time.
