Hello everyone

It is a blessing to have Sharon for another day. As you all know, Sharon started having health issues back in 2019 when she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis which are rare blood cancers. She took this head on and won, but the Amyloidosis had taken over 50% of her heart. Her team of doctors have been following her the past few years with visits every 3 months or as needed. In July her condition started to change. After several tests the doctors came back and said she needed a heart. Initially, she thought she had a few months to plan. Then unexpectedly, those months faded into weeks. She received her Heart on 11/3/24 and came home on 11/26/24. Now, her real challenge starts. She is learning how to move around again. She is using a walker and assistance from others. She will be out of work for 3-6 months which was not planned.

So, I have set up this page in the hope of helping my friend out, so she can focus on rehab, getting stronger, and not worry about household and medication cost that her insurance won't cover. Sharon is a caring and giving person. It time for her to receive some blessings back. If you know Sharon you know she will not ask for help.
