In Loving Memory of Sharmeek Brown

It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of the unexpected passing of our beloved daughter and sister, Sharmeek Brown. Yesterday, on August 22, 2025, Sharmeek passed away suddenly at the age of 40 due to a pulmonary embolism (blood clots), which caused cardiac arrest.

Sharmeek was a vibrant soul, full of life and love. She was the heart of our family, a lover and sometimes a fighter, who would go to the ends of the earth for those she cared about, especially her nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Though she didn't have any biological children, she cherished her nieces and nephews as her own. Our mother, Candace, is mourning the profound loss of her child, whom she loved and cared for so deeply. Sharmeek was truly the life of the party—she loved to dance, sing, and bring joy wherever she went. Her presence and infectious energy brightened every room she entered.

Sharmeek leaves behind her mother, five sisters, and one brother who are navigating this unimaginable loss. We are all still in shock and trying to come to terms with this new reality. As we prepare to honor Sharmeek's life and lay her to rest, we are asking for any support you can offer to help cover the funeral and memorial service costs.
