This is my dog Shaq who had to undergo life-saving emergency surgery on October 11th, 2025 to remove a blockage in her small intestine.

There simply is no choice when given a choice between life or death under these circumstances.

The surgery was $13,000 and while I’m happy to report that she is rebounding nicely, the cost is now a high-interest debt that is unmanageable.

If you are at all interested in my upcoming photography projects, please consider a contribution as this unexpected expense will eat up the modest budget for that.

Above everything that is materialistic, please consider a contribution to this fund or a similar fund because when you are in some random ER and a harried vet looks at you after giving a vague quote that is so high it would make anyone squeal, and asks, “What do you want to do?” the answer needs to always be, “yes.”

All contributions will be applied to paying the loan off. Excessive contributions will be donated to the hospital that saved this little gremlin.
