This film is for anyone who has ever lost somebody important and misses that connection. Through the protagonist’s journey, we hope to express this message: it’s okay to grieve at your own pace.
Message from the director:
“My Beau, Bo is important to me because it is based on my grandparents. I’ve only heard about my grandpa and late grandma being ballroom dancers, but I’ve never actually witnessed it. That is, until he danced at a party. Seeing my grandpa, who is normally grumpy, smile as he danced brought my mom and I close to tears. Ever since then, I wanted to make a film that would reflect that feeling and honor my grandparents.”
The cost of this film will go towards providing the proper food, locations and props for the project.
