Hello. This fundraiser is for my cousin, Shane Michael Young. He was born March 3, 1987. Shane grew up in Wichita, Kansas. He was an only child from his mother and was the youngest of 3 grandchildren (the only grandson). We are really close family. We took turns living and taking care of our grandparents. Shane had a very big heart and would help anyone at any time. He helped people with food when he could. He loved to skateboard and was into punk rock. His favorite band was The Ramones. He was in a band called Boot, which was a local band. He also loved to play the drums among other things. He was very musically inclined. He has a son, Michael that will be 18 in January. His daughter Ariel who will turn 9 in April. He was living with his girlfriend, Jennifer, and her 3 children.

Shane had an accident that caused a brain injury and wasn't able to recover from that. Shane was an organ donor, and the hospital will be doing an honor walk to fly him to Kansas City to donate and will be saving up to 8 people's lives.

He didn't have insurance to help with the funeral and burial. We are asking everyone for as much help as possible. Whatever you can spare, would be very much appreciated.
