Last month, Shana was hospitalized with an internal infection of her liver, pancreas, and gall bladder. She had to spend a week in the hospital and 2 weeks in recovery post-surgery and developed shingles in recovery. During that time, she was out of work. As she is an hourly employee without benefits, this was all lost income our family. We are only looking to recoup what we lost in order to pay our bills and get food on the table.
