On November 8th of 2018, the Town of Paradise, California was decimated by the devastating Camp Fire. 95% of the Town’s 26,000 residents lost their homes in what was the deadliest fire in California’s history. Paradise was all but burned off the face of the map.
In the years since, Paradise High School, its students and athletes, have battled back against hardship and heartache and have not only survived, they have excelled. One such story is that of the Paradise High Cheer team.
On November 1st of 2025, the Paradise High Cheer team attended their first competition, the UCA Regional Qualifier in Rocklin, CA. They came away victorious as the champions of the Varsity Intermediate Division and earned an invitation to the National Cheer Competition at Walt Disney World, Florida in January of 2026.
The PHS Cheer Team will need to raise approximately $40,000 by mid-January to facilitate travel for around 25 cheerleaders and coaching staff across country to represent our resilient community. This is a big goal, but a trip of 5,000 miles starts with a single step. Please donate whatever you can to help this amazing, talented group of young women realize their goal of competing on a national level. Anything will help, even $1, but naturally we would truly appreciate larger donations as well. Please donate whatever you can to help this dream that we wish to come true!
And THANK YOU!
