Donate to Send Creative Minds to Odyssey of the World Finals

Hello everyone, I am a very proud parent of one of the members of the Winter Springs High School Odyssey of the Mind team. This year's team is made up of seven of the most talented and creative kids I have ever known. They truly embody the spirit of Odyssey of the Mind which is creative problem solving and teamwork. Our team members- Jacob, Liam G., Liam V., Madeline, Maddy, Trent, and William, under the guidance of their amazing coaches Danielle and Jason, have been working since October on coming up with the storyline for their script, their background props and most importantly their vehicle. They placed 1st in the Regional tournament in February and this past Saturday they placed 3rd in the Florida Odyssey of the Mind State tournament. They now have the privilege of representing Florida at the World Finals which will be held at Michigan State University from May 21-24, 2025.

The team is extremely excited about this opportunity, and will be organizing various fundraisers to help offset the cost of the registration fees for the tournament. They know that this is a lot of money to raise in a very short time as it is only 6 weeks until they fly to Michigan, so they are hopeful that family and friends from across the country and around the world will be willing to help make their dream come true. As this team is made up of 6 Juniors, they know that the commitments of Senior year will probably not allow them to participate in OOTM next year so this is likely their final chance to compete as a team and they cannot wait to show the world what they can do!
