Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,

We are reaching out during an incredibly difficult time. Months ago, Selina was in a serious accident that resulted in a spinal injury and required major neck surgery. She is still in recovery today, navigating physical limitations, chronic pain, and the emotional toll of trauma. She urgently needs physical therapy, mental health support, and help covering her basic living expenses.

Now, Selina’s father is also facing many serious health challenges.

Just days ago, Selina’s father was hospitalized in critical condition. He is currently intubated in the ICU and suffering from multiple injuries. One being a traumatic knee injury where existing hardware from a previous surgery was completely dislodged and pushed out through the skin. In addition to this, he suffered major spinal fractures at T6 and T7. Neurosurgeons prepared for emergency spinal surgery and are monitoring his vitals closely to ensure his body can continue handling multiple operations to come. Thankfully, the spinal cord remains intact but the road ahead is very long and uncertain.

How You Can Help

Selina is doing her best to support her father while continuing her own healing, but she needs help covering essential expenses.

All funds raised will go directly into Selina’s bank account for immediate access to cover costs such as:

● Transportation to and from hospital, therapy, and medical appointments

● Ongoing physical therapy for Selina

● Mental health support for trauma recovery

● Living expenses, including rent and utilities

● Groceries and daily essentials

● Future rehabilitation and care for Edwards needs following surgery

Edward’s Long-Term Recovery Needs:

In addition to his urgent surgeries and hospitalization, Edward will require ongoing care. He is also facing long-term challenges with addiction and housing instability.

His continuing needs include:

● Physical therapy and follow-up medical care

● Mental health support, including therapy and psychiatry (he has Aetna insurance)

● Placement in a rehabilitation program for addiction and trauma

● Safe, stable housing (he is currently homeless)

● Help accessing housing support services

● In-home care during recovery (nursing visits, wound care)
