Donate to Secure Toby's Place with Phoenix's Family

Hi, my name is Kira.

Let me start this off by saying that none of the monetary profit is for me. I’m doing this because my best friend means the world to me, and animals mean the galaxy.

I’m not sure if that makes sense, but I’m sure you understand.

This is Toby;

Toby showed up at my friend, Phoenix’s, doorstep about 3-4 days ago, and once my friend came out to show him affection, Toby made it a routine to sleep on their doorstep and guard their house. (No really, he barked at a neighbor that walked along the sidewalk closest to their house).

Phoenix and his family have been watching him since. Toby had no collar, was REALLY thin, and despite all odds, he’s just been the sweetest most trusting little boy I’d ever seen.

Unfortunately, though, Phoenix’s parents don’t think they have the funds to adopt Toby on a whim, or to get him seen and x-rayed, and my friends and I are only 16 ourselves. His parents got him some food and plan on looking for a shelter, but they say that if no places can take him, they might keep him.

So, in order to try and turn their ‘might’ into a ‘probably’, three of my friends and I pooled in the money we had in order to try and convince his mother, but she didn’t want to take money from us. (Which is understandable; we’re kids.)

So, my stubborn hind trying to find another route, decided to add up the average prices of all things Toby needs to be checked out/tested for, x-rayed, etc, and so, here we are now.

Honestly, I don’t even know what number to put down as a ‘goal’, because I went based on averages and not exact prices, but GoFundMe required one, so I hope what I put isn’t too much of an ask.

It would be such an amazing help if anybody could donate ANYTHING. A little bit goes a long way.
