Hello, my name is Katheryn and that sweet girl I'm holding is my daughter, Aria.

We moved back to Nebraska in the Summer of '24 so that she could have a relationship with her dad, only to have that not work out and him decide in the spring of '25 that he now wants nothing to do with her.

We have been through the ringer these past 9 months; with needing to get our own place, job changes due to staffing reduction, putting her in daycare, and fighting through the court to have her father served with Child Support and Paternity paperwork, which he's been dodging for the past 6 months, because he refuses to just split her expenses with me willingly. I have reached out to him multiple times, with no response and our situation is turning desperate.

I'm making enough to keep her in daycare, a roof over our heads, and food on our table; however, other expenses have continued to rack up and go unpaid, because I'm in that sweet spot of not qualifying for any assistance, but also not making enough to survive.

One of the major bills that's fallen behind, has been my car payment and car insurance, which has since been canceled. I'm looking at a repossession and a loss of transportation in an area that offers no alternatives, with a toddler. Due to this, I've been forced to swallow my pride and ask for help from the goodness of strangers and those who do know us. I'm trying to raise $2000 to catch up my car payments, pay my registration, and pay for 6 months of car insurance, while we wait for the court to do it's thing.
