Hello, my name is Atishia. I am starting this GoFundMe for my 73-year-old elderly mother, Judy, and my 42-year-old disabled brother, Felix. They are in need of some help. They both live off a monthly check. Right after paying October rent, they got a 30-day notice to move. On November 5th, they were supposed to be out. On November 10th, my brother got the call for his double transplant, both heart and kidneys. There are not a lot of people that even make this list, let alone have the ability to find that match to get both; it is a rarity. I would say he's lucky, but that's not luck. I know God has a plan for him. Nevertheless, we are doing our best to find a place, and I have even sold off almost everything I own to help, and it's just not enough. As much as we hate to ask for help, we are swallowing our pride and asking for assistance. Your help or donation does not necessarily have to be funds. It can be word of mouth or a grapevine; maybe you or somebody you know knows a landlord or agency that can help. Any funds given will go towards a place for them and gas for the trips to and from the hospital. In advance, we greatly appreciate anything; even prayers are great as God is good all the time, even in our most vulnerable times.
