Hello everyone, my dad recently got admitted to the hospital due to his heart. He was in AFIB, his heart was pumping only 25%, and he has had a lot of procedures to try to help. The hospital wants him to have a "wearable cardioverter defibrillator".
This could save his life if his heart goes into an abnormal rhythm. However, the insurance is not covering the necessary medical devices, so we have to pay out of pocket for the device. Without this, if his heart goes into an abnormal rhythm, he may not wake up. Truly, any help is appreciated.
All funds will be going to cover the device and medical bills from various procedures done.
