For three years, this little BBQ dream has been carried by the people of Central Texas.
Not by investors.
Not by a big restaurant group.
But by you - the folks who’ve prayed for us, posted about us, and kept us going through every move, every setback, every restart.
You showed up when we were cooking behind The Backyard.
You showed up when we landed in the food truck at Barnett’s.
You showed up when we pivoted into catering full-time - booking weddings, office lunches, reunions, and events faster than we ever imagined.
Every plate, every review, every “you’ve got this” message… it all kept the fire lit.
And now, because of that support - we’ve reached the moment we’ve been working toward all along.
Broken G Finally Has a Home.
We have FINALLY found a great place for us!! It keeps us operating within our means, gives us room to grow, and is a location than many people already know!

It’s the perfect home base:
- A place where families can finally sit down and enjoy our BBQ
- A fully dedicated kitchen for catering and large events
- A space to grow, steady our operations, and create something lasting
We have 30 days to secure our final startup costs and open strong heading into January 2026.
This is the closest we’ve ever been!!
What the Money Will Help Cover
Every single dollar will go toward opening the doors - not unnecessary expenses. We’ve been boot strapping and we’ll continue to. This goes towards:
Permits & inspections
Initial inventory (meat, sides, supplies)
Kitchen setup
Utilities & opening week labor
Paint, cleaning, and small repairs
Getting the dining room ready for guests
This is the last major hurdle between us doing catering-only… and a real home of our own.
