Markus Charles Koch, age 33, of Bella Vista, passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri. Born on May 8, 1991, in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the beloved son of James "Jim" and Denise Brameier Koch.

Markus was a dedicated superintendent at Crossland Construction, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. His colleagues and friends admired his leadership and the integrity he brought to every project.

Markus is survived by his loving wife, Jamie, and their two cherished children, Amelia and Owen. He is also mourned by his devoted parents, Jim and Denise Koch, who raised him with love and support and his brothers Matthew and Ryan. Markus will be deeply missed by his dear uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephew. His family, friends, and colleagues will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and the deep impact he had on everyone he met.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amelia and Owen’s college fund.

Markus' memory will live on through his family, his work, and the countless lives he touched. His spirit, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
