My Story
Hi, my name is BRYAN MADERA, and I’m a father working hard every day to create a stable, brighter future for my children. Life hasn’t been easy lately, but I’m doing everything I can to get back on track and build something better.
I’m a full-time worker earning $22/hour, averaging around 37 hours a week. I recently overcame a serious battle with addiction and have been clean, focused, and committed to turning my life around. I currently live with my one-year-old child, and my partner is seven months pregnant. My older daughter lives in Pennsylvania. Every day, I wake up motivated by the love I have for my family and the future I want to give them.
Right now, I’m two months behind on rent and struggling to catch up while providing for my family. I’m not looking for a handout — I’m asking for a helping hand.
My Goals
My dream is to either:
1. Earn my CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – which would allow me to work in trucking and logistics, offering a stable, good-paying career.
2. Complete a Software Engineering Certificate Program – which would open up long-term tech job opportunities that I’m passionate about.
Both of these paths would give me the ability to support my children, stay consistent with my responsibilities, and leave behind a past I’ve worked hard to overcome.
Why I Need Your Help
Tuition, licensing, and training programs cost more than I can currently afford while trying to stay afloat. Any support you can offer will go directly toward:
• CDL training or software engineering program fees
• Catching up on rent to avoid eviction
• Basic essentials for my growing family
Even $5 makes a difference. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this with someone who might.
Thank You
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I’m not perfect, but I’m trying — and I’m not giving up. I believe in second chances, and with your help, I know I can build a better life for my family.
With gratitude,
BRYAN N. MADERA
