Hello. I'm a 45-year-old widow with a beautiful 10-year-old girl. We were recently displaced from our home of 10 years. Luckily, we weren't home at the time of the fire, and we are okay. Funds are mainly for at least deposit, payoff utilities, simple furniture like beds and a sofa. Movers as well. Groceries when the time comes for an apartment.

We were finally able to get in to assess the damage and it looks like 3/4 of everything we owned was lost to water and smoke damage. Clothing we have been able to salvage and any storage bins I had in the apartment are also safe with the contents.

I am currently just looking to help cover the rent and deposit and paying off the utility bills to start up in a new apartment. Something is better than nothing. We will greatly appreciate any help.
