Two Months of Strength, Progress, and Gratitude
Dear Supporters,
Today marks two months since the darkest day of my life, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for how far I’ve come. These past weeks have been filled with remarkable progress as I continue to feel better and stronger – every day.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing by me, especially on this Thanksgiving. Your contributions, messages, and prayers have fueled my strength and determination to keep moving forward. I’m especially grateful for the gift of health as I continue to recover and thrive.
Happy Thanksgiving!! May this day bring you and your loved ones joy, peace, and the warmth of togetherness. Let’s celebrate the blessings we have and the strength we gain from one another.
With gratitude and hope,
Sean
Doug here- Sean wants to add a note of thanks for Carolyn and Michael Cross who donated $200 toward the fund today through a check. Folks-- if you prefer to donate in another way such as cash, check, or another "wired" format like Zelle, you are most welcome to do that.

We're thrilled to share that Sean is progressing steadily in his recovery. Every day, he builds strength and confidence with his daily walks, which have become an essential part of his routine and progress. Sean's resilience and commitment to a healthy lifestyle continue to inspire all of us.
In another positive step, Sean has recently been cleared to drive again—though only for short distances for now. This new freedom is another sign of his progress, bringing him a sense of normalcy and independence.
They’re so grateful for the continued support from everyone. Your contributions and words of encouragement mean the world to Sean and his family as he works toward full recovery.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with him!
-Doug

October 2024
Dear Friends and Family,
I am reaching out on behalf of Sean and Jeanette to ask for your support for our dear friend Sean, who recently suffered a massive heart attack on September 28th, 2024. On October 1, he underwent a quadruple bypass surgery which was successful. He’s a beloved father, husband, and community member, known for his kindness and unwavering support to those around him. At this time of writing, Sean is resting at home and continues to make progress each day with the help of visiting nurses, doctors and rehabilitation scheduled for the coming weeks.
Sean and Jeanette appreciate all the support and kindness you have shown in the past two weeks. As Sean begins his long recovery, he will be unable to work for some time. This unexpected event not only impacts his health but also poses a significant financial burden for them.
Sean is a vibrant person who embraces life to the fullest. He loves being surrounded by friends and family, whether at sports events, gatherings, or simply enjoying life together. His kindness and positivity have touched so many lives; now it’s our chance to give back to him.
We are raising funds to help cover medical expenses and ease the financial strain during his recovery. Every dollar makes a difference, and your generosity will support Sean as he focuses on healing and returning to the extraordinary person we all know and love.
Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping Sean and Jeanette in your thoughts and prayers. Together, we can help them through this challenging journey.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Doug Slaunwhite,
Sean and Jeanette's friend
PS: Please note Sean and Jeanette are the beneficiaries of the donation, meaning your contribution will go directly to their account.
