My name is Loretta, and I am blessed to be the fur baby momma to this sweet little guy named Ziggy. Ziggy is 17 years old, but he's got A LOT of spunk left in him. He loves to cuddle and eat snacks and has been there for so many moments in my life. He's watched me grow into the momma he deserves and has loved me unconditionally through it all.

Recently, we've had some struggles with Ziggy's heath. He had an episode that caused me to have to bring him to the emergency vet where he stayed for 2 and a half days, without any type of testing being ran. The vet said he was old and his health was fading, so the best thing I could do was lay him to rest. But Ziggy said, "I'm not ready!" We decided to bring him home to spend time with him before laying him to rest..But as soon as I saw my baby, saw the way he perked up, I knew he wasn't ready to go. We were able to finally bring him to his regular vet, who said he had a bacterial infection and needed antibiotics...what a relief! Our little guy was gonna make it, but we aren't out of the wood yet.

Ziggy has barely eaten since he has been home and hasn't had a bowel movement in three days. He is acting normal aside from this, and has been soaking up all the cuddles and love imaginable. Tomorrow, I will be taking him back to his vet to run more blood tests, and possibly an ultrasound. Those two procedures alone will cost over $1,000, and I've have already spent over $1200 for his emergency visit. In addition to that, whatever we find out is wrong will also come at a cost to fix.

I am reaching out to ask for assistance getting this little guy the care he needs. I'm not ready to let him go, but most importantly, in my heart I know he's not ready either.

Normally, I would have money saved for these types of situations, but I have just purchased my first home and that comes with a lot of costs. Please help be get the care Ziggy needs. No amount is too small.
