Donate to Save Youssef's Life

Youssef is your typical active teen boy until last month when stomach pain led to medical complications and a diagnosis that has been short of a nightmare.

 Please help support Yousef as he battles an incredibly rare blood disorder which doctors believe to be Chuvash Polycythemia— a condition in which his body is producing too much blood. This disorder brings with it an elevated risk of blood clots. Unfortunately, youssef has already developed a number of blood clots throughout his body. He underwent abdominal surgery to remove his spleen because it was riddled with clots. Doctors also removed a number of blood clots in other blood vessels. 

 He is continuing to receive treatment, but it is a trial and error approach at the moment to see what his body is responding to. Unfortunately, he is uninsured and doesn’t qualify for government insurance. His family has exhausted all personal avenues to pay for travel to specialists, medication, and out of pocket medical expenses. 

 Our fundraising efforts are to tackle the immediate financial obstacles in for his medical care. His medical bills are quickly piling up. The heartache his mother, father, and siblings are experiencing is already heavy enough. Please help ease their pain by helping cover the cost of current expenses.
