Xena appeared in my yard two years ago, I looked for her owners for months and after no success she just became my sweet xena girl. She loves kids and other animals, running is her favorite way to pass the time besides cuddling. I was washing dishes and I saw her slip out her collar while she was on her runner, I went outside to get her and I was almost to her when a truck come hauling tail down my dead end road and she took off towards it.. I heard and saw her get hit, my baby didn’t even yelp.. she just come running back home. When she got to me her bone on her back leg was exposed, skin hanging, she was bleeding everywhere. The vet had to amputate her leg just to stop her major blood loss to continue to try and save her. I have no other updates besides that as of now. I’m not typically one to ask for help or donations for anything but this is a big surgery along with possible future surgeries that I just cannot afford. I’m very grateful for any who took time out of their day to read this and even more to whoever finds it in their heart to donate to help me bring my baby home. Thank you doesn’t cover it but thank you, from the bottom of a heartbroken fur mommas heart.

All Funds raised will go to her vet bills and any surgeries or rehabilitation she will need after she’s home. If you would like to donate to the vet she’s at directly, she’s at Pineville Pet Hospital Pineville La 71360 She’s under my moms name, Deanna Dean.
