HELP!!!!

Tony is a 10 year old shepherd who came into the Orange County Animal Care Center as a stray. He was placed on a stray hold, but no one ever came back for him. Although Tony did well at first adjusting to shelter life, he quickly and suddenly took a turn. He stopped eating, doesn't want to get up, and is just overall completely defeated. Tony needs a miracle - and FAST!!!!

FROM STAFF:

Tony came in emaciated with generalized muscle wasting, ear infections, FAD, periodontal disease, cloudy eyes, and weak hindlimbs. He was started on treatment for CIRDC/URI symptoms on 10/31. Today, Tony is lethargic, dull, coughing, and doesn't want to get up nor eat. He has severe bronchopneumonia and is in need of rescue. Tony needs out of the shelter by 11/06 and could be humanely euthanized sooner if he were to decline further.

PLEASE KNOW: We CANNOT pull him out of the shelter without donations. It is irresponsible and not an option to pull him if we are not able to offer Tony the care he needs. We cannot do this work alone. Tony needs us ALL to fight for him. We can do this!!!!!!
