Ted Nakayoshi was a 49 year-old father of four, and had been in intensive care for an extremely rare and life-threatening autoimmune disease known as Castlemans/TAFRO. This fundraiser was originally created to help cover the costs of his treatment, but on July 12th, he lost to a very hard battle after fighting for two months in and out of ICU. After his passing, his loved ones have decided to reach out to the community for help with the cost of his end-of-life expenses and medical bills, and funds left over afterwards will go to his youngest child’s future education.
