***UPDATE *** We are absolutely wrecked and devastated. The vet called during the pre-dawn hours to inform us of Sweet Lola’s significant decline. We raced there to be by her side as she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Little girl was might and fierce and has left a HUGE whole in our hearts and home. You were loved beyond measure and given the best chance possible. We will cherish our time with you forever. Love you Lola girl!

Hello….our sweet girl Lola is fighting for her life. After numerous tests it is suspected that she contracted leptospirosis. This infection is ravaging her little body. Lola is currently in kidney failure, has inflamed intestines, pancreas, gallbladder and liver. Her bilirubin level’s are very high. Lola got admitted to the pet ER on Thursday. The staff there have been wonderful and are taking the bart care of her that they can. Unfortunately, her labs tomorrow morning will be the determining factor to continue supportive and curative measures or withdraw care. She’s put up a tough fight. Lola is the sweetest girl undeserving of this illness. Please pray for our girl.
