Donate to Save Sweet Bugsy's Life

On Monday evening, the day before a massive snow storm hit the south, a local citizen contacted Kitty Konnection about a stray kitty who showed up at their apartment complex with an apparent gunshot wound to his back left leg. They knew the kitty needed immediate emergency help but could not cover the medical charges. Bugsy was taken to an amazing foster who transported him to a vet where he was examined. Xrays revealed that the leg was shattered to the hip and severe infection had set in. Bugsy’s leg was amputated completely to the hip and he spent the night in the hospital. On Wednesday, prior to being released back to foster care, his fever spiked and he was required to spend a second night in the hospital. Bugsy is definitely not out of the woods. He is a super sweet kitty and a fighter. He will require continued veterinary care and has a long recovery ahead of him. Despite his misfortune, Bugsy has been a superstar with his sweet disposition and will to live. Rescue is only able to help these types of extraordinary cases with your donations.
