Support Stray Dogs in Türkiye

Hello friends,

My name is Nurdan. Some of you know me from the States, but for the past two years, I’ve been living between the U.S. and Türkiye since retiring. During this time, I’ve witnessed firsthand the heartbreaking conditions of stray dogs in Türkiye—especially in the city of Kırklareli.

I’m raising funds to support an extraordinary volunteer group called Melekler Şehri Derneği (City of Angels Organization). This grassroots team rescues, rehabilitates, and cares for over 700 stray dogs—many of whom have been abandoned, injured, or left to survive on the streets.

Without consistent funding, these animals face starvation, untreated illnesses, abuse, and neglect. The cost of feeding alone—covering both the shelter and surrounding areas—reaches $10,000 per month. And with more dogs arriving daily, the need is growing.
