Hello everyone, writing this on behalf of our sister, Stephanie Lansing. She has ESLD and will need a liver transplant to survive the next 3-6 months. From a young age, she hasn’t had the best liver. The past year has been rough. She has been hospitalized twice with pneumonia, sepsis, and a UTI, and is currently in the hospital for sepsis, an infection in her abdomen, as well as end-stage liver disease (ESLD) with decreased kidney function due to the sepsis. We were just told she must have a liver transplant to survive. Stephanie needs all your prayers as she is in the fight of her life. She has to get to a liver transplant doctor when she is discharged ASAP to help mitigate her symptoms of a poorly functioning liver until she can get a donor liver. Honestly, we’re told she might not survive the next 3 months without a donor liver. We kindly ask if any friends or family who have blood type A with a healthy liver and would like to be a possible donor to contact any of her siblings, her daughter, or our mom. We all love Stephanie so much and want her here with us for many years to come. Time is running out, medical bills are piling up, and she is still trying to work from her hospital bed. The doctors have informed us her condition will only worsen from here on out. It’s hard to ask for help, but we are at that point and asking to please donate; even a dollar would help towards her medical expenses and expenses accrued by family. If you’re not able to, we understand. Please share and, most importantly, pray for Stephanie.
With love,
Her family
