I created this campaign in hopes to raise funds to help my daughter Angela and her husband Chris do all they can to save their cat Satine.

On Monday, their cat Obi passed away and now Satine is hospitalized while they work on helping her survive.

Angela and Chris are heartbroken over Obi’s passing. We hope that what they did learn from Obi’s death will help Satine.

The Story:

My daughter Angela and her husband Chris just lost their 5 year old cat, Obi, unexpectedly. The experience was traumatic after seeing vet after vet over the past 3 days. Obi died on Monday Sept 15th. Cause of death: unknown

My daughter noticed that her other cat Satine was experiencing some of the same behavior that Obi was before he passed. She is not eating much. This is how is started with Obi, then Obi had become very jaundice, so to keep an eye on Satine, Angela placed a camera in the area where the cats have their food and she could see that Satine was not eating at all during the night. So in the morning she checked her eyes and ears and her ears were yellow. Angela immediately took Satine to the vet as she and her husband were terrified that they would lose Satine as well.

After visiting their vet, the vet told Angela she should take Satine to a specialized hospital in Tampa.

The fact that the vet knew that Obi passed away so quickly and suddenly was enough to take no chances.

Angela and I took Satine to the specialist. As of today Weds 9/17 Satine is being hospitalized.

Angela and Chris will do whatever that have to in order to help save Satine as long as the doctors have a treatment plan in place for her. With that being said, this has very difficult for them financially. So far they will be responsible to pay $5100.

As parents we wish we could do more to help financially. We do not want money to get in the way of helping sweet Satine or make it difficult for them to pay their tuition as they continue to work on their degrees while working full time.
