Donate to Save Sassy and Chloe's Puppies

Hello, our names are Katie and Byron. We live here in Abaco, Bahamas, and we met two potcake mamas named Sassy and Chloe. They are the sweetest girls, but their “owner” has some disappointing ideologies on how someone should care for their dogs. They are locked up by a metal chain in their backyard and continuously get pregnant, which is very hard on their little bodies. They said they don’t care where the puppies go, and if they give them any more trouble he will “bring them to the dumpster and shoot them”.

Sassy just recently had a litter of 10; two have died in the last few weeks. These puppies are infested with fleas. I’d use the donations to get the mommas spayed and get them flea medications. After I get them cleaned up, I’ll try and get some of them adopted, but most shelters in the Bahamas are already so full. I’m not too sure we will find any around the islands.

I was able to convince the homeowner to allow me to help them get fixed and provide the puppies with medical care. I found an organization here in Abaco called Potcake Rescue that will help with the spaying at $50 a dog and give a discount on flea medications. Anything you are willing to donate would be so helpful and would go a long way for these fur babies.
