My name is Vivian. My fur baby’s name is Sammy. He was left outside someone’s home after they moved away and was extremely malnourished with scars all over his body when I rescued him 12 years ago. He was two years old when I walked into a shelter and he collapsed into my lap. I knew in that moment I would save him. What I didn’t know is how much he would save me. He has been there through every moment of my life and has taught me so much about love.

He has been having bloody noses with fits of pain. Between multiple ER vet visits and multiple trips to the regular vet, I have exhausted the savings account I had for him. He needs a CT scan and possibly radiation therapy as they think he may have a tumor. Whether he needs radiation, surgery, or hospitalization, the total cost will be around $10,000 to $13,000.
