My name is Kate and my husband Ron Houseman has been just been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, we are praying it does not get worse. During the consultation with oncology we were informed that the treatment could not be started until we are able to come up with $11,000 for round 1 of chemo and an additional $11,000 for round 2. These amounts are the insurance deductible and we have to pay out of pocket. My husband is a great guy and helps anyone in need. He is also the Sunday school teacher and sings in the choir at our church. This news is devastating as Ron has always been a strong healthy guy.
