Hello, my name is Roland, and I’m a rescue dog who has already survived more than most.

After years of neglect, I was finally given a chance at love and care. Recently, I was diagnosed with multiple skin tumors and skin cancer. My family was heartbroken but determined to help me fight.

They trusted a recommendation for affordable treatment across the border — a decision made out of love and hope. Unfortunately, that surgery turned into a nightmare. The procedure was done improperly, leaving me with a large, painful open wound and a severe infection. I was returned home in critical condition — dehydrated, weak, and fighting to stay alive.

Now, I’m hospitalized in the U.S., receiving emergency care for infection, dehydration, and trauma. My recovery will take time, and I’ll need a second surgery to repair the damage, plus ongoing medication, fluids, and follow-up visits.

Despite everything, I’m still wagging my tail. I want to live. I want to play again. I want to feel the grass under my paws without pain.

My family is doing everything possible to help me heal, but the medical bills have already become overwhelming. We’ve started this GoFundMe to raise $4,000 to cover:
