Hello, about a week ago we adopted a bloodhound puppy as sweet as can be, named Rex, he’s 3 months old. 3 days ago he woke up and couldn’t walk or even stand up, wouldn’t eat or drink either. We took him into the vet that same day and he’s been there since. The vet can’t figure out what’s wrong with him, they say it’s a really bad infection, he’s been fighting so hard and finally starting to look better, still can’t walk or move much yet but his vitals are stabilizing on their own which is a very good sign the doc says. We’re on here asking for help because all the tests they’ve had to run, the bloodwork, the meds, it’s racking up a heafty bill and me and my boyfriend are only 19 and have an apartment we’re paying for and just don’t have the money for what he needs, we have spent $2500 which was our entire savings. We don’t wanna give up on him but we need help with his bills. The vet wants to keep him over the weekend because he still needs intensive care to make a recovery. Anything helps and we appreciate anyone who can help at all! Thank you.
