Hello everyone!

My name is Lauren Potter. For those of you who dont know me I am a 33 year old cook who lives in Pottstown PA.

Unfortunately life has given me a lot of financial hits lately and Ive come to a point where I need to ask for help. I am working a full time job and have recently moved to another state.

My beloved cat who I consider to be my actual child is currently undergoing a urinary block surgery as I text this. The statement is out of my financial abilities right now. He is a two year old domestic gray hair.

For those who don’t know a urinary block can be extremely deadly to cats if not treated immediately. The vet has informed me that Rauru’s life will have to change upon returning home slightly. Meaning he will have to be put on a better diet and be given better quality of water.

I do not ask lightly and find it difficult to believe that I have to. Anything anyone can contribute is greatly appreciated. Please help me heal my cat. He is my everything.

Update: Rauru could not recover from the kidney damage and unfortunately we had to put him to sleep on today, Nov 12. However the vet bill will still be high and given todays economy we will need help to pay it off. Any little bit helps. This loss is tremendously difficult.
