Hello everyone! My name is Tina and I don't matter. I want to raise funds to help this incredible family. I have known them for a considerably short time at 4 years now, but it feels like I have known them an eternity. They are the most kind, loving, outgoing, and meek family. I myself suffer from an illness, and their sincerely nurturing mother named Nadia and their young and incredibly wise-for-her-age daughter Briana came to my aid when I most needed it, and their kind and strengthening words gave me the strength to carry on. Enough about me. I know so many wonderful people who need financial help, but my heart breaks when I think about this family being in the situation they are in and not being able to help. Their father is named Rafael, and he has recently experienced some injuries. Not long ago, he hurt his knee while working and wasn't able to contribute financially as much as he would have liked, and I saw how much this affected him. He had physical therapy for his knee, and he finally had recovered enough to work more regularly again. Even though he has his struggles, he never stops trying to take care of his family. His twin boys, Justin and Diego, have their own struggles, yet they do all they can within their circumstances to help the family financially each week. They are a tight-knit, humble family that lives within their means. They find themselves in the following situation:

Rafael woke up one morning and was not able to see out of his right eye. His wife Nadia took him to the doctor right away, and that doctor told him it was a serious infection, but he decided to refer him to a specialist in Amarillo, TX. That specialist told him that his cornea burst and that he would need a cornea transplant and that his left eye needs treatment because otherwise, it will burst as well. As many of us have experienced, their insurance does not cover the whole surgery. The remainder after the insurance coverage totals $11,000.
