Hey everyone,

If you know me, you know I'm not one to ask for help. It's not for me though; my sweet little girl Porky got a crazy aggressive infection that spread throughout most of her body and turned into sepsis in a couple of days. Right now, she's in the intensive care unit with about 75% of her belly tissue removed and just raw flesh due to that area becoming necrotic. They are doing a great job and throwing everything and the kitchen sink at it right now (hyperbaric chamber, laser debriding, different cocktails of antibiotics, feeding tube, wound care, etc.).

They think she can make it and feel they should be able to figure it out because she's a lil toughy, but she is going to have a LONG road to recovery and will need to be in the hospital for a while. It's about 2k a day for the intensive care and she's been in for 5 days and will be there until it stabilizes (hopefully soon), then at least a couple more weeks in regular medboarding in the hospital which is about 400 a day for healing enough to be able to take her home. I'm running low on funds and will do whatever I can to help my baby, including swallowing my pride and asking for help.

If y'all could help out or share this link, I can't tell ya how much it would mean to me. I am by myself in the desert and just have her and my other dog in my life. Not trying to give you a sob story, just want you to know when I say "she means the world to me," I'm not exaggerating.
