This is my cat Pashia. My family and I have been fostering her for about 3 years now. She was rescued from the streets of Yonkers in 2022 when a local rescue thought she was pregnant but it turned out to be a giant pyometra. This is an infection in the uterus. She got life saving surgery and recovered in a foster home before she came to me and my family. She has spent the last 3 years living the life of luxury until now she has become sick. My mom and I took her to the vet because we noticed labored breathing and weakness in her hind legs. The vet took X rays and felt her abdomen and found a mass. We’ve sent out blood work and are scheduling an ultrasound for now but she could also potentially need surgery. My family has 5 other cats and the rescue is not a large scale operation so if anyone can donate to help us save my cat it would be greatly appreciated. She is a very shy but sweet girl. She loves sitting in the same room as the family and eating lots of treats. She is my beautiful princess and I want her to live many more years with my family!
