Hi, my name is Nick. I was driving home from work on a country road and I saw a small black animal in the road. I stopped and beeped the horn, but it wouldn't move. I got out of my truck, and this kitten started walking towards me, meowing. He was a mess. One eye was definitely missing or not all there. He was sneezing and had folded ears.

I had no choice but to rescue him. He was going to die on his own. Luckily, my vet (I have 3 other cats) was open late. He had a respiratory infection but was in good spirits. They gave him an antibiotic shot. I knew right away that I would be adopting him. It was like he was waiting for me on that road.

I named him Ozzy. His respiratory infection is slowly getting better. He's eating like a horse and is in good spirits. He tested negative for FIV. But his eye will need to be removed and he needs to be fixed. I need your help to help Ozzy get well. This is an unexpected expense for me and the worst is yet to come.
