So many people have offered to help, and I truly appreciate it. Right now, there isn't much that can be done except for buying new posts and top rails to relocate the birds to the front of the property, all while hoping the river does crest tomorrow. As of 10/19/2024 still rising!

I typically don’t ask for help; being a Sagittarius, I tend to be quite independent and stubborn. However, we are facing significant expenses and have already depleted our winter savings on equipment to get us through. Now, with the need for more posts and other supplies, and having experienced some food loss, it's been challenging. All of our nest boxes need to be replaced as well.

My poor mom now has lost everything she owned except for the little bit clothes we grabbed. We so wish now had grabbed more.

there was no warning that she would be in this situation until at 4am it was creeping in the house.
