Hey everyone, my name is Stefanie and I’m raising money for my cat Opal. I’ve had Opal since she was 3 weeks old. She was a rescue/foster turned foster fail. She is 9 now and has never had an issue prior to now.

Lately, she’s shown an aversion to food despite giving her tuna water, wet food, treats, etc. We took her to the vet and they did her blood work. She’s anemic, and her liver and kidney levels were very bad. We were referred to internal medicine in Shoreline. I waited there for 6 hours only to find out they didn’t get an ultrasound yet. They offered to hospitalize her, but to lessen the quote, we offered to take her home and bring her back in the morning. When we return, she will get her ultrasound, updated platelet count, and a feeding tube. We don’t want to give up on her yet, as the vet isn’t entirely sure what it is yet.
