Hi, my name is Larissa and I started this fundraiser for my Dad. He's always been very healthy, going on 2 hour runs daily, hiking, and eating clean. For the past few months he had complained about chest pains and on April 17 he was rushed to the hospital, and has been in there ever since.

He has suffered from 4 cardiac arrests, multiple organ failure, and poor circulation that will result in the amputation of his left foot. He spent 2 weeks in the ICU and 6 days on a ventilator, receiving continuous dialysis and sedatives.

Now, he is finally awake, off the ventilator, and his organs are starting to function again. Although his situation has improved, he is still very ill and the road to recovery is very long. He's expected to be in the hospital for at least a couple more weeks and if he survives, he will need weeks (if not months) worth of physical therapy.

This fundraiser is to help cover medical costs including hospital bills, surgery, physical therapy, and a prosthetic foot. Please help provide my dad with the care that he needs.
