Hi my loves! My name is Caroline, I created this go fund me to help my friend Mohaned and his family survive and evacuate to safety.

These are Mohaned’s words:

"I am Muhannad from Gaza. I am 24 years old. The war began and I and my family were in the city of Tal al-Hawa. Due to the intensity of the continuous bombing over our heads, we decided to flee after our house was bombed and to find a safe place. After a week of war, we fled to the central region and rented a small house to house me, my brothers, the children, and the rest of the family. We were not spared from the barbaric bombing, and the house was bombed again. We miraculously survived several times, and after that we were displaced to the south of the Gaza Strip, near Khan Yunis. We were not spared and fled again, and we were displaced to the city of Rafah, which is now witnessing violent bombing. Nothing remained, stones and trees. Everything was destroyed and the suffering we are experiencing. It is very difficult, especially in light of the high temperatures, and the tent that my family and I are currently living in is unbearable due to the intense heat.

The situation that my family and I are living in is very difficult. It is difficult for anyone to bear food, drink, or shelter when we can't provide the necessities of daily life. The simplest example is that I travel a distance between one and two kilometers in order to get a gallon of water because of the suffering and lack of necessary supplies. My father suffers from hepatitis and my mother suffers from high blood pressure, and it is difficult for me to find treatment for her, and most of the time I do not find it due to the lack of health services and the lack of job opportunities to obtain money. The situation we are living in is distressing. We want a decent life. We re tired. We wish to evacuate because life is almost non-existent. The economy is devastating. The occupation has destroyed and bombed our homes until they become empty.

I am Muhannad Ahmed Abu Salem, I have 5 brothers, Muhammad, Issa, Qasim, Abdul Rahman, and the younger Ali, and my two younger sisters are Heba and Malak, and my mother and father. The cost of evacuation per person ranges between 7 to 10 thousand dollars.

We do not have enough money, and I know that it is difficult to raise the necessary money we will need for evacuation, but I hope that a miracle will happen and that my family and I will evacuate as quickly as possible."
