Urgent Donation Request for Max, Changed By Nature Outdoors’ Beloved Mascot

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Community,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help for Max, the cherished mascot of Changed By Nature Outdoors, who is not even 4 years old. Last year, while joining our veterans on a hunt, Max suffered a severe injury, tearing his meniscus. He’s now in constant pain, and the only solution is a meniscus replacement surgery costing $8,600, which must take place this month. Without this surgery, Max’s quality of life will continue to deteriorate, and we may lose his joyful presence at our camps, where he brings comfort and companionship to veterans, first responders, youth, and individuals with disabilities.

For over a decade, I’ve dedicated tens of thousands of hours and thousands of dollars to the mission of Changed By Nature Outdoors, a nonprofit committed to supporting those struggling with PTSD and other challenges through outdoor experiences. I’ve never asked for anything in return, but today, I’m humbly asking for your support to help Max get back on his paws and continue his vital role in our programs.

Any contribution, whether $5 or $1,000, will make a significant difference in covering the cost of Max’s surgery. We’ve set up a GoFundMe campaign to make donating easy, and every cent raised will go directly to Max’s medical expenses. If you prefer to avoid platform fees, you can contact me directly at (928) [phone redacted] for alternative donation options.

Your generosity will help Max return to our camps, where he provides immeasurable comfort to those we serve. Thank you for considering this urgent request and for supporting Changed By Nature Outdoors.

With gratitude,

Justin Youngman
