Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out with a very heavy heart and hopeful spirit to sincerely ask for your help. My beloved dog Max—my best friend, emotional support, and family—just had to undergo an emergency surgery that saved his life.
Max had been showing signs of distress, not eating, not wanting to go outside, and when I started checking him out, I realized that his whole abdomen was bloated and hard. I rushed him to the vet, we were devastated to learn that his stomach had flipped over, twisting his guts, and he needed immediate surgery to survive. They told me I had about 15 minutes to come up with the money for surgery or they would have to put him down. I frantically called everyone I could, and luckily was able to borrow enough money to save his life.
The procedure was critical and complex, but thankfully, Max made it through. He’s home now and on the road to recovery, but we are facing an overwhelming veterinary bill of over $8,000.
As many pet parents know, you never expect something like this to happen until it does. It's nearly impossible for me to ask for help, but I would do anything for Max—he’s been with me through some of the hardest times in my life—but this sudden cost is just more than I can possibly manage alone.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean the world to us. Every dollar will go directly to covering Max’s surgery, aftercare, medications, and follow-up visits. If you can't give right now, please consider sharing this with others who might be able to help.
Max is such a good boy and fighter, and I just want to give him the chance to live a happy, healthy life again. He deserves it.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading and for any support you can give.
With love and gratitude,
Adam & Max
