After tragically losing our beloved sister Emily at just 18 years old to cardiomyopathy, we learned that our mother, Mary, shares the same life-threatening condition. For the past 10 years, she has fought bravely through countless challenges. In September 2024, she received a mechanical heart pump (LVAD), but now her body is rejecting it—leaving a heart transplant as her only chance for survival.

Mary is preparing for this critical, life-saving procedure in the coming months, but the financial burden is overwhelming. Medical bills, travel, temporary lodging near the transplant center, and long-term medications are pushing beyond what our family can bear.
