Donate to Save Malak and Her Twins

My name is Andrew. My wife and I are raising money for relief efforts in Palestine. Our personal friend Malak and her children are trapped by the war. Donations will go directly from us to her for food and medicine, with the goal of raising enough money to get them out of the country completely. This is her story,

I am Malak from Gaza, mother of 12-year-old twins Aboud and Malak. I gave birth to them after two IVF procedures. They are all I have in this world. I planned for them to live a dignified life and receive a good education, as they are all I have. I worked hard to achieve this for them, but the war came and took away our dreams. My children's dreams became a fairy tale. Aboud dreamed of becoming a soccer player, but there were no streets or playgrounds. Malak loves to draw, but what does she draw? Destruction and killing. In Gaza, we live in hunger, fear, and a lack of money. This damned war has made us only think about how we can live today. We live a life that makes even stones cry from its cruelty. Everything is killed here in Gaza: humans, animals, plants, and even stones. We have not been spared from all kinds of injustice and oppression. I am not telling you about our helplessness and lack of resourcefulness. I ask you to help us so that I can provide a dignified and safe life for my children. Know that asking for help is not easy for us. We are not used to asking, but the unjust and coercive circumstances forced us to do so. Stay with us and do not abandon us, because we are also human beings.
