Lusca's Eye Surgery Fundraiser

Hello everyone,

I'm posting this fundraiser to help with expenses to cover a necessary surgery for my baby girl, Lusca.

If you know me at all, you know that my dogs are my life. A few months ago I noticed Lusca had a bump under her eyelid, and upon taking her to the vet to have it looked it, I was told she had developed a meibomian cyst.

Although these sorts of cysts are usually benign, left untreated it could result in something much nastier that I simply will not allow to happen. It's been causing her discomfort, as she is rubbing her face often with her paws and rolling her face on the ground. I've been keeping an eye (no pun intended) on this growth, and it appears to have grown in size since she was first diagnosed. That being said, its go time to get this thing removed.

Everything is expensive right now. I'm currently working two jobs just to make ends meet. Even between the two sources of income, it would take me a long time to save the extra money needed for Lusca's surgery, medicine, and recovery... time that I don't have to wait around with this.

The print is made from a hand carved block, the image is The Lusca, from whom her name originated: a Caribbean folklore sea monster that is said to be half shark, half octopus.
