Hello, this is my best friend, Luke Miller. He’s 21 and has been having issues with his heart for about a year now. He’s been hospitalized three times in the past year and has continued to have small attacks in between that he didn’t call EMS for. On Thursday, he woke up having a heart attack. He lives alone, but luckily he had a friend there to help at the time. When he got to the hospital while having the heart attack, they sat him in the hallway for nine hours. When he saw the doctor, they told him that he had SVT and that he needs a $65,000 surgery. But because he doesn’t have insurance, they were going to send him home with a single medication until he can figure out how to get the surgery he requires to live. This is his second time in the same hospital for the same thing. The first time, he was sent home with false information about a cardiologist he was supposed to follow up with. He called the cardiologist every day for two weeks, and they either didn’t pick up or sent him to voicemail every time and never followed up.

I’m trying to raise money so that I can help him get the surgery so that he can stay with me and doesn’t leave me.
